URGENT REQUEST -- Proctors Needed!!
End of Year testing is scheduled from May 25th - June 8th. EOG, EOC, and NCFE courses will be tested during that window. We will need about 75 proctors and hall monitors each day to make our testing session successful! Proctors must be over 18 and may not test in the same class/grade as their child. Parents, grandparents, family friends, are all welcome to sign up! We have a great need for proctors. Please **click here** to proctor on one or more testing dates. We truly appreciate your help!

All of those who will be serving as proctors will need to attend proctor training before proctoring End-of-Grade tests or NC Final Exams. We will hold proctor trainings before we start our tests. The next date is Wed, May 23rd from 1:30-2:30pm in the Multipurpose Room. We will also hold proctor trainings before each day of testing at 8:15am in the Media Center. In order to proctor, you must attend any one of these trainings. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Courtney Armstrong at courtney.armstrong@cms.k12.nc.us.

Bulldog Club Fundraiser
Spring Fundraiser for Main Field

The Bulldog Club on-line fundraiser is off to a great start! Through your generous donations, we have raised over $19,000 of our $25,000 goal! We are hoping to raise enough money to do a major main field renovation this summer (June-September 2018). The scope of work includes stripping, grading and sodding the center third of the field, from goal post to goal post. The two outer thirds will be aerated and top dressed. The result should be a much smoother and safer playing field that will be more playable and safer for the AG sports teams, club teams and students.

This project is the first step of a long term plan to renovate the entire main field area, including a track resurfacing and field house. Please see the FAQs at this LINKfor much more information. To make these dreams a reality, we need help from all the AG families. Please consider going to our fundraising site, https://www.snap-raise.com/fundraisers/agfieldproject, and donating what you can to help make this summer renovation work possible. We have defined the scope, received competitive bids and have the contractors ready. All we need to make this happen is the funding. Please help if you can, no donation is too small. Also, please consider forwarding this link to friends, family members and others that may be interested in supporting the project.

Because many people in the community also use the field, we have assembled a group of dedicated Neighborhood Captains who will assist in getting the project information out to neighbors, friends, AG alums, and others that may be willing to support us. The fundraising goal is big, but the payoff for our students and neighborhood is bigger. Please help us if you can!
